1、 Characteristics

2、 Principle


The smoke density optical measurement system for burning cables or optical cables under specific conditions consists of a light source, a silicon photocell receiver, and a computer system. The light generated by the light source passes through 3m × 3m


× A 3m smoke density laboratory forms a uniform beam with a diameter of 1.5m ± 0.1m on the wall opposite the light source. The photocell installed at the center of the beam detects the light source

2、 Design of combustion chamber (see Figure 3)

3、 Equipment composition


1. Combustion chamber: Internal dimensions: 3M x 3M x 3M, totaling 27 cubic meters. It can be a brick wall structure or a steel plate structure, chosen by the customer


1. Optical measuring device: A. Imported quartz halogen lamp with light source: nominal power: 100W, nominal voltage: 12V, nominal light flux: 2000-3000Lm


B. Receiver: It is a silicon photocell, with a transmittance of 0% indicating no light passing through, and a transmittance of 100% indicating complete light passing through without obstruction.


2. Standard ignition source: A. The ignition source is 1.0L alcohol


B. Alcohol tray: stainless steel, bottom surface: 210x110mm, top surface: 240x140mm, height 80mm


3. Smoke mixing: Use a desktop fan to evenly distribute smoke in the combustion chamber.


4. Blank test: Burn the alcohol lamp to reach a temperature of 25 ± 5 ℃ in the combustion chamber.


5. Temperature measuring device: A temperature sensor is installed at a height of 1.5M from the ground and 0.5M from the wall on the inside of the door.


6. Including a set of transmittance measurement software that can output curves and reports.
